New levels are unlocked as you solve the previous ones. You can complete the whole game only if you earn all the stars (L, E, and V). But you can buy an IAP that removes this restriction. Find more useful hints on Euclidea on our site: https://www.euclidea.xyz/faq.

“Euclidea has been shown to help with imagination, intuition, and logic, all wonderful skills to develop.” – appPicker

“Euclidea is an absolute joy to play…it’s a game that every math student should have and, in an ideal world, every adult should like.” – Non-Trivial Games

***About Euclidea***
Euclidea is a brilliantly original way to learn about, explore and have fun with Euclidian Constructions! Your task is to solve interesting challenges by building geometric constructions with a straightedge and compass. If you design the most elegantly simple solutions in the least number of moves, you’ll earn the highest scores. Solutions are scored in lines (L) and elementary Euclidean constructions (E).

***Start Simple and Get Smarter!***
Don’t worry if you aren’t a math wizard. Euclidea starts out with simple challenges that guide you through the basics. Once you master the fundamentals, you’ll move on to tougher, more mind-bending challenges such as inner/outer tangents, regular polygons, and more. There are 120 unique challenges in total, which are organized in packs for simpler navigation.

***Add Constructions to Your Interface***
When you learn certain significant constructions – such as angle bisectors, non-collapsing compass, and so on – they are automatically added to the Euclidea interface’s shortcut, which helps you save time and allows you to create clean, uncluttered drawings.

***Easily Drag, Pan & Zoom***
Euclidea-created constructions are completely dynamic. As such, you can drag to adjust angles, lines, radii and so on. You can also easily zoom and pan. This not only makes the experience more interactive, but it allows you to more deeply grasp the relationships between geometric elements, explore various possibilities, and analyze errors.

***Instant, Automatic Precision***
Don’t worry about spending time or effort trying to achieve perfect precision, because Euclidea automatically handles that task by pinning points, lines and circles to the app’s clean interface.

***Compete with Friends***
Who said that math isn’t a competitive sport? Challenge your friends to see who can come up with the most elegant solutions, and track your achievements and rankings via the Game Center.

***Additional Special Features***
> A helpful “Explore” mode that allows you to see the figure you need to construct
> An inventory of tools that you create as you progress – you’ll need these to solve future challenges
> Some challenges can be solved in more than one way, which means you can try a different approach and have even more fun

Pros and cons of Euclidea app for iPhone and iPad

Euclidea app good for

The good design and challenging puzzles nake this the best compass and ruler app that Ive yet seen. And what better way to spend your time than doing geometry? ;)
This game is great. But extremely addictive. Dont worry about in app purchases there is no need to make any.
First my suggestion: it would be nice to have a "sandbox" mode where youre not trying to accomplish anything. I had "Apollonius" (which no longer works) which was simply a compass and straight edge playground, and I learned many things from that type of unguided structure. Anyways, this app is otherwise flawless. Ive learned many new things about geometric constructions and I can see useful connections to other types of math (linear algebra and in particular).
This is really a cool app idea and very well done. A true brain teaser. Pretty cool.
Not just for people interested in math, this game teaches you the intriguing world of creating shapes with a just ruler and compass, one of the most interesting titles ive seen for a while! Definitely recommended!
The idea itself is already super amazing, and the well designed game interface and L/E star system further motivates thinking and imagination.

Some bad moments

Very very challenging game indeed. Its a geometrically based game where I need to do complete many objectives by drawing shapes and lines. The game is hard, but at least it has some very good instructions.
This is interesting but I am really bad at it. I find it frustrating to try to keep everything in place on the iPhone. It might be better on a bigger screen.
Very nice learning game related to Geometry and our wonderful Euclides. It has loads of different geometry problems to solve, and once you solve you pass level, thats it. Good to train your brain as well, try it out.
Im a math geek so this app is perfect for me. Its easy to play but requires a LOT of thinking. Im taking a star off cause Im stuck on the level of creating a rhombus with its diagonal aligned with the rectangle. I KNOW Im correct but its not letting me move through the levels...
This is such a cool app especially because I love math. It is like a puzzle but with a valid real life reason. Definitely a fun game that will help you with geometry. I love how there are so many puzzles and that they have a real application. Recommended to all especially those troubled in geometry.
The game is really one of the best of a kind..for those people who really want to know if they have any common sense at all, this is the one for you...you might think it is geometry, no it is common sense but if you know geometry, it is a piece of art to execute...
